Method

Please read the following competition methods carefully to avoid damage to your rights.

International Competition

  • Domestic and foreign students age 6 to 15 currently attending/enrolled in school with an interest in painting creation are welcomed to participate.
  • Elementary School Division:Age 6-12(Born January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2017.)
  • Junior High School Division:Age 13-15(Born January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2010.)

※ The organizer reserves the right not to give out any awards if the panel judges have decided that none of the entries meet the required award standards.

Submission Requirements 

1.Participants may only submit ONE entry for  International Competition, respectively.(Art which has been submitted to the National Competition may not be submitted to the International Competition for consideration.) 
2.The submitted works must not have participated in other competitions.
3.The participant is the sole creator of each artwork, and no joint/group creation is allowed. 
4.The entries in the painting format category shall be drawn on an 8K art-drawing paper (38*27 cm) and shall not be framed. 
5.Participants may use watercolor, crayons, printmaking, ink painting, colored pens, or any combination of these on paper. Sketches, collage, and 3D artwork are not accepted.  
6.The use of words in the artwork is strongly discouraged. Avoid posters and comics format artworks. Depict your imagination with patterns and images as forms of expression. For example, you can draw the painful expression of a sea turtle, but you do not need to add words such as, “I’m in pain!” 
7.No copyrighted environmental material is allowed (e.g. Water Conservation Mark, Green Mark, or Carbon Footprint Label) 
8.All paintings and drawings must be original artwork, and any kind of art reproduction is not allowed. 
9.In order to ensure a fair and just competition, participants must enter the division based on the grade at the time of entry.  If any discrepancy is discovered, the participant will be disqualified and the won awards cancelled. 
10.In order to maintain a fair and just competition, entries that do not comply with the individual regulations and any of the regulations in this document will not be counted, accepted, or judged even if they have been admitted to the preliminary stage of the competition. The participant will be deemed disqualified and any award and related personnel rewards, and the award certificates will be revoked.
