′As captured in image.png, this piece highlights the fragile balance of our planet through a dramatic split composition. On one side, industrialization and plastic pollution wash away all color, leaving a scarred landscape of waste and suffering wildlife. On the other side, nature thrives in brilliant hues, detailing Taiwan’s unique ecological tapestry. Here, the iconic Formosan black bear and sika deer coexist harmoniously with the striking Taiwan blue magpie and kingfisher. The thriving waters support the endangered Formosan landlocked salmon, while the forest floor is alive with the rare Formosan salamander and elegant Taiwan lilies. By placing these two realities side by side, the artwork urges global citizens to stop pollution and actively protect the colorful, diverse lives that define our beautiful earth.′
