The Philippines is the ′Pearl of the Orient Seas′. Very fitting for a country whose rich waters is full of life. My artwork is inspired from a place called Verde Island Passage. I was able to witness its natural beauty in person during our family trip.
I also included some endemic species such as the Philippine Whale Shark and the Taklobo, the vibrant corals and fishes. Sadly these are being threatened by water pollution and climate change.
